My Mother
My mother was humility, Expressed opinions sparingly. She knew what human life is worth. She knew her place upon this earth.
My mother was all honesty. She never, never lied to me. No gossip, or infidelity. As strong and straight as one can be
My mother, you were modesty. No Paris` clothes, no fancy dress. No funny words that could express, an inkling of indecency.
My mother, you have never preached, but set examples for one`s soul. and never shall I reach that goal, that you have set, and reached.
My mother, you are gone so long, and passing time should make me strong, but to this day, it`s hard to bear, remembrance of your love and care.
