Happy Birthday Mom...
I bought a card for your birthday, with a poem inside. It told of my love for you... it expressed emotions I so often hide.
I signed it with love and sealed it with a kiss. I wrote your name on the front... for this special day I never miss.
It's been some time since you left this child behind. tho' your legacy is forever a part of my soul, body and mind.
I cried when I realized how often I need you here. The tears streamed down my cheeks, when suddenly I felt your presence near.
I thought I heard angels of joy singing your song. Catching my breath, I whispered softly, "I love you. Happy Birthday, Mom."
