Goodbye

The throb in my head

The ache in my heart

Reminds me daily

Of how we're apart

I have to live

You need to rest

Now you're at peace

I'm sure it's best

You closed your eyes

And slipped away

I'll constantly remember

That very sad day

You've joined the angels

And the stars in the sky

So for now Grandma

I guess it's goodbye.
